Recent Events
In July, the Children's Project Committee and other league members went to Walmart and got numerous school items for needy children throughout the local schools. Items purchased went to several children at ten of the local schools. Some of the items that were purchased was book bags, pencils, crayons, and glue.
On August 28th, 2010 the Arts and Interest Committee hosted the annual WSL summer party. It was held at Okefenokee Country Club with live music and a BBQ cook off. Fun was had by everyone that attended.

Racing for Pinks is set for 10/23/10 at Waycross Middle School at 8 am. Please get with Heather Thigpen or Lorie Smith for more details.
The Ways and Means Committee needs volunteers to work at the storage buildings on 10/2/10 from 10-2 to help start pricing and sorting items for the Whale of a Sale.
Service League of Waycross, GA is a charitable organization whose purpose is to meet the needs of people of our community by providing volunteer hours and financial support.
